Squirrel Scouts are coming to Crockenhill

Squirrels are children aged 4 & 5 years old and it is the beginning of their Scouting experience.

Our Squirrel Drey will be opening its doors soon and you can place your child on the Waiting List after their 3rd birthday.

For an hour every week during term time Squirrels will gather to grow and learn their way through lots of different games and activities, all whist making new friends and having fun.

They will embrace and enjoy all that Scouting has to offer; being introduced to outdoor activities, having the opportunity to be creative, exploring their local community, learning all sorts of things (without even realising) and achieving anything they can set their minds to.

As a Squirrel, your child will try all sorts of new things, earn some amazing badges and awards, make new friends, become curious about their world, and help get themselves ready for the amazing adventures they will have at School and in Beavers (when they are 6 years old).

For some children this can be the first time they have been left alone without a parent present, and they may find it a bit daunting. We will work with you to help your child settle in, and it won't be long before they are joining in and gaining confidence as they take part in the games and activities.

Crockenhill Scouts meet in their own Scout Hut and offer Scouting to girls and boys of all abilities.
