Go-Kart Pioneering Camp

On our previous Pioneering Camp we came across an old car tyre in the woods.
That got us thinking, what could we make with wheels…a go-kart of course !!

So, after collecting some empty cable drums, we set to it.

We started off with the large wheels at the front, but as this seemed to slow us down we put them on the rear axle.

And then we added some steering.

Everyone had a go in the end, even Steve, the Swanley District Scout Commissioner (the big boss) !!
