Beaver Scouts Invested

A record number of Beaver Scouts invested.

Six new members were invested today, bringing the Colony’s numbers up to eighteen.

It’s an important occasion when a Beaver Scout is invested,
as they have to make the Beaver Scout Promise on their own and in front of the whole Colony.

“I promise to do my best
To be kind and helpful
And to love God.”

Fox, the Beaver Scout Leader, is always on hand to prompt if they get stage fright.

Beaver Scouts are the first section in Scouting, and can start as young as 5³/₄ years old.

Next year, 2011, is the 25^th anniversary of Beaver Scouts.
